Preet Bharara says he'll eat his law license
on TV if Donald Trump is indicted

Welp, former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara let folks know, via the Twitter, that he doesn’t believe Donald Trump will be indicted.

Bharara, who Trump fired earlier this year, tweeted, “In fact, if such a sealed Trump indictment is revealed, I will have the grace to eat my bar license on live television, without condiments.”

Bharara’s comments come as speculations increase about Trump being indicted.

Last week, it was reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has expanded his investigation into the Russian hacking scandal to include Donald Trump’s businesses.

The announcement prompted a response from Fox News pundit Judge Jeanine.

Jeanine tweeted, “There will be an uproar in this country if they end up with an indictment against a Trump family member just to get at POTUS.”

Trump retweeted Jeanine’s tweet and then that led to more speculation about whether he will be indicted.

Callum Borches of the Washington Post wrote an article titled, “Analysis: Trump’s itchy Twitter finger just triggered speculation about an indictment.”

However, Trump’s retweet is not a surprise. He did tell the New York Times that he considers any investigation of his family businesses a “red line.”

Also, these cases generally take a long time to complete. Mueller is investigating the president of the United States and not the hobo on the street.

So, chances of an indictment being announced, anytime soon, against President Donald Trump are slim to none.

On the other hand, for folks like Paul Manafort an indictment may just very well be around the corner.

Mananfort was Trump’s 2016 Presidential campaign manager. Manafort was let go and replaced by Kellyanne Conway after allegations surfaced about his possible shady Russian connections.

Welp, today several news media outlets reported that the FBI raided Manafort’s home.

And anyone who knows anything about the FBI raids knows that an indictment is soon to follow.
